Portugal v Czech Republic: Hranac leveller denies Selecao victory

Portugal were held to a 1-1 draw by the Czech Republic in their friendly international on Saturday.

Vitinha had given the hosts the lead in the first half, but Hranac equalised for the visitors after the break.

Portugal started the game brightly and took the lead in the 33rd minute when Vitinha crossed from the right and Stanek could only palm the ball into the feet of Hranac, who tapped in from close range.

The Czech Republic grew into the game as the half wore on and were rewarded for their efforts when Hranac equalised in the 57th minute.

Portugal pushed for a winner in the closing stages but were unable to find a way past the Czech defence.
