Turkey off to a winning start at EURO U21

Mert Muldur and Arda Guler scored the goals as Turkey got their UEFA European Under-21 Championship campaign off to a winning start with a 2-0 victory over Georgia at the BVB Stadion Dortmund.
Muldur, the Sassuolo defender, gave Turkey the lead in the 12th minute with a stunning strike from outside the box. Guler, the Fenerbahce forward, doubled the advantage in the 60th minute with a fine finish from inside the area.
The win moves Turkey top of Group F, level on points with Italy, who beat Spain 3-0 in the other game in the group.
Turkey will face Italy in their next match on Tuesday, while Georgia will take on Spain.
